The Team

  • Steve Ackerman

    Director/Senior Service Engineer

    Steve has been with Medserve from the very beginning and has over 10 years experience within the industry, allowing him to build great working relationships with all of our customers. He is responsible for annual servicing, preventative maintenance, emergency breakdowns and repairs to all healthcare equipment, complying with Health and Safety Regulations. As is the same for all engineers, Steve has received all relevant training with suppliers and manufacturers to comply with industry legislation.

  • Amy Ackerman

    Director/Head of Sales & Marketing

    Amy joined Medserve in January 2012 in the newly re-organised team with a vast amount of experience within the Healthcare sector working closely in conjunction with our legal, financial, marketing and operations team. Responsible for planning and implementing department strategies and taking part in the overall strategic decisions to ensure that all departments are working in accordance with their goals. With over 10 years in business development, project management, contract implementation and marketing, Amy brings a customer focused experience to the role. 

  • Kalam Grace

    Service Engineer

    Kalam joined the team back in the Autumn 2013 and has got off to a fantastic start with Medserve.  His enthusiastic approach to the job has been a welcomed attribute. He is keen to learn and develop his skills within the industry and has attended many training days with our suppliers to add to his training record and knowledge of products.

  • Natasha Fielding

    Sales & Marketing Manager

    Natasha joined Medserve back in May 2012, she joined the team at a crucial time, helping to develop the customer base and also providing much needed, dedicated support to our ever growing customer base, giving customers a direct point of contact.  Not only has Natasha helped with the growth of the care home customer base but has built our customer base within the public sector, providing solutions for the NHS and several different Trusts within the South West. As with all new members of staff, Natasha has attended several training courses with our suppliers and is looking to complete her BTEC in Pressure Care Awareness in 2014.

  • Holly Daley

    Office Administrator

    Holly is the newest member of our team, joining Medserve at the start of 2014 as an apprentice in Office Administration. She has settled in well and will be a valued member of the team, especially in the office.  She left 6th form college in May 2013 and wanted to get out into the working world.  She enjoys going to the gym and socialising with friends. 

  • Danielle Coles

    General Manager

    With 6 years experience in the Healthcare sector and a further 3 years experience within the medical equipment market, Dani was the driving force behind the acquisition period, joining the team just prior to acquisition and initially spending time with the previous owners not only helped her gain an understanding of the day to day activity within various departments but also to build on industry knowledge and understanding of products/services. She has a clear vision for the direction of the business and this has enabled her to make some really positive progress in regards to setting solid foundations for Medserve. Dani currently dedicates her time to her little boy, Rory, the youngest member of the Medserve team!

About Us

A brief history of Medserve

Medserve was established in December 2001 by Robert Penketh and originally known to our customers as RPP Medical Services Limited. With over 20 years experience within the Healthcare industry Bob was responsible for the training and compliance of products and services predominantly working with local Care Homes. In April 2011 RPP was successfully acquired by Steve and Amy Ackerman and since acquisition Medserve have remained customer focused whilst successfully continuing to develop and grow the business - an exciting time for everyone involved!

Medserve are based in a prime location for serving customers in and around the South West - offering Servicing and Maintenance packages to Care Groups, Local Councils, NHS Trusts and many more.
